Secretary-General Chu Chen-tso has been selected as a Featured Fellow for this quarter by the Rajawali Foundation Institute for Asia at the Harvard Kennedy School. Notably, he is one of only two researchers highlighted in the institute's quarterly publication.
During his time at the Kennedy School, Secretary-General Chu focused on several critical areas from a Taiwanese perspective:
-
AI Governance & Supply Chain Strategy: He explored AI regulatory governance and supply chain strategies within the context of the growing "Made in America" trend.
-
Taiwan's Comprehensive Value: He consistently emphasized that Taiwan's true value extends far beyond semiconductors; it is deeply rooted in a long-term accumulation of expertise in precision manufacturing, production line management, critical components, and a robust engineering culture.
-
International Outreach on AI Law: He introduced Taiwan's latest advancements in AI governance to global partners, notably the recently passed Artificial Intelligence Basic Law. This demonstrates that Taiwan is simultaneously strengthening its legal and governance foundations to become an even more trustworthy collaborative partner.
This prestigious recognition not only highlights the international visibility of his research achievements and Taiwan's soft power, but it also reflects the profound impact of the Foundation's long-term dedication to AI research and policy advocacy.
