Objective

The World Health Organization (WHO) defines "smart medical care" as: "The application of ICT in the medical and health fields, including medical care, disease management, public health monitoring, education and research". For example, Telemedicine, Applications such as wearable care devices, medical robots, imaging diagnosis, and drug research and development use artificial intelligence-related technologies to improve medical efficiency and quality. However, the innovation of medical technology also derives related legal issues such as the ownership of medical responsibility, ethics, medical risks, and data privacy. Therefore, the goal of the establishment of the center is to use the foundation of researchers from different fields to discuss in-depth smart medical laws. , To help promote Taiwan’s development in the formulation of relevant laws and regulations.
