Secretary-General Dr. Chen-Tso (James) Chu Honored as "Featured Fellow" by Harvard Kennedy School’s Rajawali Foundation Institute

[Taipei, Taiwan] – Dr. Chen-Tso Chu, Secretary-General of the International Foundation for Artificial Intelligence and Law (IFAIL), has been selected as a "Featured Fellow" for the current season by the Rajawali Foundation Institute for Asia at the Harvard Kennedy School. Notably, Dr. Chu is one of only two fellows highlighted in this season’s quarterly showcase.

During his tenure at the Harvard Kennedy School, Dr. Chu focused his research on AI regulatory governance and supply chain strategies amidst the "Made in USA" trend. From a Taiwan-centric perspective, he emphasized that Taiwan's global value extends far beyond semiconductors, residing in the long-term accumulation of expertise in precision manufacturing, production line management, critical components, and a robust engineering culture.

Furthermore, Dr. Chu introduced Taiwan’s latest advancements in AI governance to international partners, including the "Draft Artificial Intelligence Basic Act." He demonstrated that Taiwan is simultaneously strengthening its legal framework and governance foundation, positioning itself as an even more trustworthy global partner.

This prestigious recognition not only highlights Dr. Chu’s research achievements and the international visibility of Taiwan’s soft power but also reflects the long-standing influence of the Foundation in AI research and policy advocacy.
